I don't understand the idea, or relate it to who he is as a player or person. Looks kind of tribal, in a player from argentina whose only tatoo is his mother's face seems inappropiate. Besides, the logo and type look as 2 completely different elements with nothing in common. I assume that the stripes in the letter E are a link to adidas sponsorship, but the type used is boring and very poorly executed… i don't like it

Megan Rapinoe should have been included in this deal. She played for the Red Stars - Chicagoans know her. It would be more personal if she was included in campaigns having to do with the City of Chicago and the Marathon.

You should add the different languages followers for each club. At least Barcelona has three different accounts, English one which is posted here, Catalan language account with 720.000 followers and spanish account with 952.000 followers.

Let's hope that Univision broadcasts Copa America to the intended audience of hispanics and not just Mexicans as they did with Copa Oro. Not everyone living in the US that is hispanic is Mexican.

I agree with the fact that clubs need to engage their sponsors in activation with fans. I also think that clubs need to interact more with their fans. Since Social Media has become such an important part of Marketing, a lot of football clubs are starting to build fan pages on Facebook. But what I am missing is the club's own fan community, where the club can interact with the fans and the fans can interact with each other. This is great for the fan and gives the club the possibility to use social media targeting to reach the individual needs of the fans. We are a German company that is specializing in fan relationship management software (www.fan-id.de). We are interested in any new insights on this topic.
